Microsoft Surface Tab Specs, Features & Price

Microsoft Surface is an upcoming tablet from Microsoft. It's a 10.6 inches tab featuring ClearType HD display. Microsoft's new Windows 8 is going to run this device while third generation Intel Core i5 Ivy Bridge processor will fuel it. Apple still dominates the tablet market although there are plenty of tabs in market ASUS Transformer tabs, Samsung Galaxy tabs, Acer Iconia tabs to name a few. Most of these tabs are run on Android operating system. The craze is very high at the moment. Windows 8 is still to ship in market but the competition between manufacturers started long ago. DELL,Lenovo all are eager to ship the first Windows 8 tablet. Now all one a sudden a Windows 8 tab from Microsoft will definitely increase the competition.

Microsoft Surface will be coming with 2 variants; Windows RT and ARM processor powered Surface RT and Windows 8 and Intel Core i5 Ivy Bridge processor running Surface Pro. Both these tabs will feature 10.6 inches display, but Surface RT comes with ClearType HD display whereas Surface Pro will be featuring ClearType Full HD display. Surface comes with 3 mm thick Vapor Mg touch cover and type cover. Use the cover to protect the display from scratches and get the benefit of full thin keyboard. Earlier we seen separate dock in case of ASUS Transformer tabs now Surface comes with similar architecture with advanced features. Watching movies or playing games in wide display is a treat to watch. Surface tabs have a kickstand to balance the tab when you put it on any regular surface. The kickstand does not require additional space and fits in the body perfectly. You can hold the tab perfectly with your hands or place it on on any surface using the kickstand.
